Summer may be winding down, but at WareSpace things are only heating up as we head into the fall and Q4! Across the portfolio, we’re firing on all cylinders – boosting occupancy, driving renewals, and most importantly, keeping our tenants happy (the heartbeat of everything we do).

This month, we’ve crossed an incredible milestone: 20 buildings and 2 million square feet. Just a few years ago, that number felt out of reach – today it’s a reality because of the hard work, dedication, and hustle from every single department and team member.

And we’re not slowing down. The acquisitions team is actively chasing new opportunities nationwide to keep expanding our footprint and bring the WareSpace experience to more small businesses than ever. Meanwhile, construction is underway at 5 buildings (with more about to break ground), and our momentum is growing.

Thank you all for the energy, focus, and creativity you bring every day. Together, we’re building something truly special – and the best is still ahead.

I’ve always believed that inspiration comes from the people we surround ourselves with, and I’m incredibly lucky to be surrounded by friends, family, and coworkers who constantly push me to grow. Each person in my life has qualities I deeply admire — resilience, kindness, humor, and creativity — and those little pieces have shaped who I am today.

My journey with WareSpace began in October 2023 when Levi reached out to me on LinkedIn, and from the very first conversation, I knew this was the perfect fit. After several rounds of interviews — one of which included Joseph not wearing shoes — I officially joined the team and stepped into the beautiful chaos. I was immediately drawn to WareSpace’s mission and the ability to connect with so many amazing people. One of my favorite parts of the job is helping prospects get excited about their new warehouse space and later checking in as tenants to hear how their visions are coming to life. Watching their ideas grow into reality has been incredibly rewarding.

Outside of work, I spend much of my spare time reading, recently finishing Throne of Glass and starting Crescent City with my morning coffee. I also have a love for writing and have authored personalized books for my daughter, nieces, and nephews. Someday, I dream of becoming a world-renowned children’s author — hopefully successful enough to need my own WareSpace warehouse to store pallets of books!

What keeps me motivated day-to-day is the incredible team I get to work alongside. Celebrating wins together, swapping stories over lunch, and watching us grow and build this company has been so much fun. Long-term, my biggest inspiration is my daughter, my honorary coworker, who already knows our main sales line number by heart and reminds me every day why I work hard.

I try to live by the motto: “You miss 100% of the shots you don’t take.” — Wayne Gretzky … via Michael Scott. It’s been on my whiteboard since my very first day and serves as a daily reminder to take chances, embrace opportunities, and enjoy the journey.

Each year, from September 15 to October 15, we come together to celebrate National Hispanic Heritage Month—a time to honor the histories, cultures, and contributions of Americans whose ancestors came from Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean, and Central and South America.

At WareSpace, we proudly recognize the diverse voices and talents of our Hispanic and Latinx colleagues. Their rich cultural traditions, innovation, and leadership play a vital role in shaping our workplace and our community.

The dates of National Hispanic Heritage Month are significant: September 15 marks the anniversary of independence for five Latin American countries—Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, and Nicaragua. Mexico, Chile, and Belize also celebrate their independence shortly after.

This month is not only about honoring history—it's about celebrating the people who make history every day.

Let’s take this opportunity to learn more about the cultures that enrich our community—and to reaffirm our commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging.

The Acquisitions Team is very busy right now and WareSpace is actively growing!

We’ve recently closed our second facility in Denver, CO, successfully closed on a new facility in Fort Lauderdale, FL (our first Florida facility!) and Plano, Texas in the coming weeks! With these acquisitions, our portfolio will surpass 2mm SF across 21 properties.

But we’re not finished. Through year end, we have a goal to grow by another 1mm SF- to hit 3mm SF across the nation. Below are a few markets where we’ve recently traveled and actively working on potential property acquisitions:
